Our Story

In October of 2002, we lost our three little angels, Jack, Libby and Philip, when they were born at 24½ weeks. After experiencing such a tragedy, we were blessed with excellent nurses and pastoral care that encouraged us to spend time with our children and coached us through the little amount of time we had with them. Our heads spun in a fog and we had no idea what to do.

While we had the opportunity to bathe, cuddle and take many pictures of our children, we met many others who were not encouraged to have the same kinds of experiences. As we shared our pictures at a support group with other parents who had lost infants, my heart grieved. Parents kept remarking how lucky we were to have so many pictures and to have been able to bathe our babies and have little clothes to take home. Some of the couples did not even have a picture. While I am painfully aware that we cannot physically do anything more for our children, I know that we can still love them by helping others. We want every parent that looses their child to have the highest quality of care and the opportunity to make memories that will last forever.
